Keeping myself busy...

While I patiently wait for our Magnets to arrive I've been planning Registries. I will freely admit that this is the second most exciting part of the whole Wedding Planning process for me.

Some people think that Registries are the Devils work. I am here to tell you, no. They are not. The Registries are about your life together as Husband and Wife, and God willing: Parents.

It's about all of the little things that make your house into a home. And it's about the two of you. I will also freely admit that I put Wilton Cake Decorating Tools on there... as well as Cookie Sheets. Mostly because Baking is a big deal to me. And how am I to be expected to throw fabulous Cookie Exchanges if I don't have the proper tools and equipment?

I'm also trying to get the things that *I* want out of the way so that way Matt doesn't have to sit there and wait for me. But more importantly I'm hoping to take some of the tedium out of it so when we have to go 10 rounds over silverware- he'll have some stamina.

Picking paint for the house was terrible. I can only imagine what silverware will be like.

SO! What was your #1 must register for? What do you wish you'd Registered for?

You're killing me! First you're out to ruin my Birthday! Now you have no advice to offer, what next?

You know... you could come with us, I'll let you hold the scanner gun, : P

Honestly, we just both had so much fun running around Target with the gun that we fought over who got to do the scanning. We pretty much just registered for new versions of all the old crappy stuff we had. And some board games. And my favorite, the waffle maker. We didn't do china or silverware, which I suppose makes us weird, but I did wind up eventually getting a set of china from a friend's estate sale and we never ever use it. But I also don't entertain and don't particularly like to unless it involves the grill and coolers.

I don't know if he's going to like the Gun experience. I haaaaaated the one at Bed Bath and Beyond when I helped a friend with hers. But I love Target- so I know that I'm going to enjoy that.

We definitely need updates and upgrades. We've been living together for what seems like a decade now. But I'm also trying not to double up on things at more than one store. Which is getting annoying because we haven't GONE into Target yet, but there are things on our Amazon Registry that say they ship from Target. So I'm debating whether or not to just hoist them off of Amazon and on to Target. But we shall see.

I also started a Tupperware Registry. Man oh MAN! Do I love that one.
